Ray Kearney Photography is a father and daughter team with a unique blend of flair, style, experience and the ability to photograph each occasion with different viewpoints creating a stunning blend of traditional and modern photography.
Until he opened the studio in the summer of 2003 Ray had been working from home for over 20 years. He never liked studio portraiture as it all seemed to be taken against brown painted backgrounds with everybody wearing their “Sunday best”, shirt and tie, party frocks and so on and being asked to smile. Digital photography has changed all that. It has given him the opportunity to shoot more natural, spontaneous photographs, which has drastically changed his outlook and fired up his passion for being behind the lens. With Ray’s vast experience and knowledge and Nicola’s fresh, modern approach to contemporary images, together they are producing inspirational photography.
